Privacy Policy

The website uses AI services to improve submitted prompts. Saved prompts in the Companion extension are stored only on your device, and we do not sell or share data with advertisers or data brokers.

• Prompt improvement: when you use the improver, the text you submit may be processed by AI services to produce the improved prompt. Submitted text, improved results, feedback and a random browser identifier are stored for private quality review, alongside usage statistics such as whether a result was copied. Do not submit sensitive personal information in prompts.
• Website attachments and voice: documents are parsed in your browser; up to 12,000 characters of extracted text, the filename and size may be stored with your submission. Uploaded images are sent to AI for description; a reduced-size copy of the actual image is stored privately for quality review. Original document files and full-resolution images are not retained. Voice input stores only the submitted transcription, not an audio recording. Attachment previews are accessible only through protected admin access and temporary links.
• Saved prompts (extension): the Companion extension stores your saved prompts exclusively in your browser's local storage on your device. We never receive them.
• Account (optional): if you create an account to use the private vault, we store your email address and the prompts you choose to save, protected by your authentication.

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties.
• We do not show advertising or track you across other websites.
• The Companion extension does not read, change, or monitor the web pages you visit. It requests only the minimal permissions needed to run its own popup.
• We do not collect browsing history, location, or device identifiers.

We use browser local storage for essential preferences (theme, language) and, if you sign in, to keep you authenticated. No third-party tracking cookies are used.

Extension data stays on your device until you remove it (uninstalling the extension or clearing browser data deletes it). Website submissions and attachment previews are retained for quality review until deleted; contact us with the submission details to request deletion. Removing an enquiry from the admin queue archives it rather than permanently erasing its data. If you have an account, you can delete saved prompts at any time from your vault; contact us to delete your account and associated data.

PromptVault is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date above and post the revised policy on this page.
